Hi all members.

Is there anybody already interested by the B-29 bomber used in Europe ?
I wonder about an alternate color scheme and A-bombing missions on German cities.

Hi
Recently I just created this, Boeing Washington B MkI and GR MkIV 311. Czechoslovak Bomber Squadron 1946
I did not consider the use of the A bomb
1. Bomber Command
2. Coastal Command
3. return to Czechoslovakia

RAF 46 bombers would have likely worn Medium Sea Grey over night - the scheme Lincolns and some Lancasters wore post war.  In service lend lease US aircraft would likely have remained in whatever paint (or not) they were delivered in.

This has a lot of potential! Sub hunting with a MAD boom and radar.

This one was at Commiesfest in Feb.

It was made from the Monogram 1/48th scale kit.

Thanks for your ideas.

Karlik, I like the profiles you made. Any proposals for some USAAF versions ?
Philp, your version is great too and I like the B-17 color scheme.

The Coastal Command scheme is great.

Not nescessarily , some Lincolns wore DE/DG for several years after the end of the war.

Great work karlik ! My favorite is from the 91st BG with olive color scheme.

Too bad they didn't actually fly over Europe...

thanks  , I'm glad you like
and the last  ;D

I like all the foreign service versions.

The last one is quite strange. Some test plane scheme ?

For WWII in the Pacific, I believe that there must be some Far East Command RN ou RAAF versions  ;)

karlik

the last is the assembly ship  ;D
Tiger Force in Pacific, I try to paint something

That assembly ship is screaming to be built..................pity I dont have a B-29 in the stash.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

I nearly got the KG200 one done or something close anyway.  An u/c accident put paid to that and it's gathered dust for 15 years.  Hated building that kit - Academy.
