Dear, oh dear........... <sigh>

The T-34 was the large 7500 hp turbo-prop built by Pratt & Whitney that powered the later versions of the B-30, together with the C-133 Cargomaster, as well as the R7V-2 that JCF mentioned.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The idea of a Washington sub hunter is something I will build using a 1/72 B-29,might change the engines to Griffon and add a pair of auxiliary jet pods from a B-47 aftermarket kit.
I have fitted Griffon engines to a C-69 Heller 1/72,and named it the "Connie Francis ".Painted mat black with red decals from the Airfix RB-57A .

Its not quite finished ,just need to add the propellers . The  gear is stowed (up position ). I have a stand for it and a cut down Catalina flying boat minus
s the wings and tail turns it into an amphibious Connie .I have ordered the metal landing gear .
