DISCLAIMER. I hope I won't do anything wrong: this is my first post of a project in this forum.

A few years ago, I found in a french car-boot sale an half-built IMAI venetian galeass for a few euros. Obviously I couldn't resist and bought it.
Thinking about what to do with the thing, I remembered that in Italy did (and still does) exist a small railway company called "Società Veneta".
SO, what's more logical that to convert the galeass in the first ferry of said railway?
The railway wagons loaded are authentic models of S.V. rolling stock.

Note the delicate end-of-track bumpers in period style. Difficult to see in photo, but the track supports have cutouts corresponding to the coach toilets/restroom drains, to drench the slaves at the oars. I think it's a nice touch.  ;D
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Well that is very original, and very much in keeping with this forum!  Great detail work.  Welcome!

Interesting contrast of "old" versus "new" technology.  Really well done!

Now that's very nice and unusual even for this site
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
