Czech air base, Namest nad Oslavou open day

Hello all:

I spent most of this past Saturday (06.10.2012) at the Czech air force base at Namest nad Oslavou, which is about an hour west of Brno. Namest is home to L-39ZA Albatros and Mi-24/35 Hind aircraft. It was a mix of military and civil stuff, so here's a bit of both:

Starting with statics:

A civil L-29 Delfin:



Czech AF transports; Let L-410 Turbolet and Casa 295:





Zlin 142 trainer:



Austrian army Blackhawk, the sole non-Czech participant in the event:




Some preserved airframes of aircraft which once flew from Namest:





I absolutely love the Sukhoi Su-7 they have at Namest, it's easily the best looking preserved Su-7 I've seen.

awesome pictures, i didnt even know Czechoslovakia had SU-7 Fishpot's  :thumbsup:

the SU-9 is the Fishpot and was never exported, The SU-7 is the Fitter-A. The 9 was an interceptor, while the 7 was a mud mover.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,

I might be strange here but the SU-31 is my favorite airplane in the photos :P

Maybe it could be whiffed into something...
