JayBee's Spitfire F22

Well here is my What If Spitfire F22, based on the recent Airfix 1/72 kit.
This build was inspired by our own Spitfire expert (the WOOKSTA) as he has produced some What If Spitfires that are very difficult to detect as such.
I will eventually tell, but I hope someone works it out first.
There may well be a small prize for the first completely correct answer.

Ya the helmet was the only thing I saw, but I'm surely no expert ! She does look good tho ! Still waiting for my LHS to get some in.....

There are five clues to the story.

The first two are not visible in the photos, and in fact are very hard to see even in the flesh, so I can forgive anyone not spotting them.

There are two clues visible in the photos, and one of them, the helmet, has already been spotted.

The final clue is so visible that it amazes me that it has not been picked up yet. Mind you it does require a bit of a twist in the mind set to recognise what it is. 

All will be revealed at Telford, if no-one has got it before then.

48th scale is the Devils invention and should never be touched by a true gentleman. No the model is 1/72 scale.

Is this PK433 as flown by the BBMF? In a polished BMF finish as opposed to painted silver?

That was quick Alun, well done. The only bit to add is the date, 2012.

The five clues are -

The overall finish of polished NM.

There is no gunsight fitted.

The pilot is wearing a black flying suit, a green life preserver, and of course the white bonedome.

Aha, there we go then. The thing other than the bonedome I picked up on was the fact that it was a bit too shiny. So my mind is evidently twisted in roughly the right direction...
