Would the Brimstones be usable on the Typhoon?

Gondor

Yes, not currently cleared for use but on the list to be added, could also be used on the Harrier GR9 as they were supposed to get them eventually

This is WhiffWorld, of COURSE they could!  ;D

As well as being cleared for use on late Mark Spitfires, B-36s, B-26s and Lincolns.................  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

Mmmm. I thought everyone knew that what everyone calls 'TSR.2' (why can't people ever use its given name?  Even at the point of retirement its squadrons and crews referred to the Eagle as 'TSR.2') was retired from service in 1992.

I think I heard they were not far off ready for deployment and would probably be in use by now if the Harrier hadn't been retired.  Trials aircraft had certainly carried them:

A quick look at the Wiki page for Brimstone revealed a number of whiff possibilities, use as an anti fast attack boat weapon and possible entry into service with the US, France and India (the latter for use with the Su-30, that'd make an interesting model).
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Another interesting one for Brimstone could be the Jaguar GR3 as that was retired early and the Brimstone would have been ideal for its role along with the Harriers.

On that chain of thought and the use mentioned by Mossie you could have them on the SHAR FA2 or Indian FRS51 for light anti-shipping

Apache, Lynx/Wildcat, Merlin, four-round box launcher for Warrior IFV, River/Clyde-class OPV etc. Lots of options. Ooh, what about the Hawk? Gunpod, six Brimstone and a pair of droptanks would make a nice, cheap, ground-attack platform with plenty of loiter time.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

........or go for the anachronisms;   Buccaneer, Sea Vixen and Scimitar.

They're also looking at mounting it on fast attack boats as a counter to them, the Brimstone Sea Spear programme includes launch from surface vessels as well as aircraft. If anyones looking for something windswept an interesting to do to the Airfix Severn Class lifeboat then this artwork might act as inspiration:

Thank you and all the others who added information. Looks like Colin is going to be busy casting Brimstones for a while.

The Hawker Typhoon (and Tempest) could carry 8.
