Okay, here are some photos.

Here is the motor:

Here is the plane:

And, here is the broken P-51 I will make into a radial mustang by sawing off it's nose and putting a cowling on it:

As you can see from these pictures, the rudder and aft part of the plane are bent. Since it is this way, maybe I'll chop off the rudder and elevator and put a new X configuration on it.

I will :D . Tophe, do you have a gallery were you have posted all your drawings?
Also, I forgot to show the brave pilot who is to attept to fly the plane when it's finished. Here he is, checking out his newly make custom cockpit:

Thanks.

Holy ----, this is one of the greatest jackpots of all time I have hit for plans... Hey, could you draw me Step 3 P-51 with interceptor wings?

I am not sure I undestand: do you mean a slanting view with gun-wings? I do not draw weapons, sorry (I am naively pacifist). :-\

No guns, no. There is this one Luft 46 drawing of a Messerschmitt with extremely long wings like a glider. This was this way so that it could go very high and intercept Allie bombers that could now go into the stratosphere. Let me rephrase the question: could you draw the step 3 with long militarized glider wings?

Tophe

Glad to fulfill your hope:

It could have been coded P-51PR-19 as well (our friend Kit will understand)...

PR19_Kit

Oh yes, do I EVER understand!  ;D Love the look of that one, a gem.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Briar

damn, that thing looks beautiful. Maybe some contra-props on this one? Have you seen my second topic, with labeled "Aarcesair Naval F-117"? :tank: :tornado:

Tophe

Here is my last drawing of the day. I go to bed now. I'll see tomottow your other topic Briar.

PS. Is Briar pronounced as Brian? It would be pronounced as the French "braillard"=always-yelling-baby...

Briar

Briar is pronounced Bri-ar, like a briar patch. I use it as all my avatar names on most forums because it's never used and I like the briar bunny myth.

Tophe

Google-Translate pronounced me the English Briar (plant), different from what I thought, and different from the French Braillard (bawler, squaller, loudmouthed, raucous)... So North-Briarican sounds more ecologic than frightening... ;)

Briar

LOL. I own a county called Saestria (http://www.nationstates.net/nation=saestria), so you can call it the West Saestrian Aircraft Company, or the Aarcesair Air Corps (I.E The Aarcesair XF-43 Chariot.)

Tophe

Google does not find any Aarcesair XF-43 Chariot but I will like discovering the roundels of Aarcesair Air Corps... ;)
