I guess I became obsessed with the 322d Squadron of the 91st Bomb Group (heavy) about 25 years ago building these models as a kid. Now I have several: the "Chow Hound" B-17G; the "Miami Clipper" B-17F; and the "Hikin' for Home" B-17G. All are Revell (the "F") or Monogram 1/48th scale kits. The wife loves them, I swear!

Revell B-17F "Memphis Belle" hangs in the living room, as she was of the 324th Squadron she doesn't belong in formation  :thumbsup:

Welcome and a nice collection Dave. I hope to seee more of your work. Now you need a What-If aircraft to go along.

I've done a BUNCH of USN what-ifs, posted many here. I'm new to the AC  whif aspect :cheers:

Dunno about help, you certainly need a strong ceiling!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The only help I can see you needing is to hang more planes from the ceiling.  Welcome to the nut house!  We can prove our sanity as we have our commitment papers.   ;D ;D ;D
