Hi everyone, some of you may remember me as project d who built the BAe pegasus diorama. I´ve had to make a new account as i couldn´t remember my old details. I´ve made some progress with my projects and the diorama, i´ll get some pics of where i am now tommorow.

Glad to be back again!

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Wow The Harrier was a real 'Whiff'!! I saw one of those down at Boscombe Down.

Eh?

Do you want a copy of the plans?

And 39 never did operate the PR19, it was only flown by 13 Sqdn.............  ;)

Hi Kit,

You sent me a copy before on my old account as project d ;) it´s nearly done now just the wings need finishing after getting the engines changed for 1/100 cfm56s. Couldn´t remember if it was 13 or not so i´ll have a look to see if i have any 13 decals

Magic, that should look good when it's done. The world population of PR19s is growing, as well as the real one at Cosford...........  ;D

There's a 13 Sqdn fin badge supplied with the old Matchbox Canberra PR9 and I have an idea there's one with the current Revell re-pop of the same kit. If not I have them as decal artwork on my PC and could print you off some if need be.

Where did you get 1/100 scale CFM-56s from BTW? If they look like the underscale TF-33s I used on the original that could be a good solution for anyone else wanting to do a PR19a.

I got the engines from a friend, i´ve used them on the meteor and two of the canberras. Theyŕe really good as they´re one piece in resin, i´ll get some pictures tomorrow. Building up one of the PR canberras with 1/48 TR-1 parts to go with the PR-19

Had a look in the decal stash and luckily came across a pair of 13 squadron fin badges so now the PR.19 fuselage is now fully complete and waiting for the wings to be finished now. Still looking for an idea to use the gnat for a quick build to take a break from the long psr sessions on the canberras and meteor wings.

How about the PSR on that ruddy awful M'box Meteor fuselage?

I detested building that bit of all three of my PR19s up, the cockpit bit just never fits properly. Stupidly the Aeroclub conversion cockpits for the single seaters fit LOADS better than the M'box original, but then they were engineered by John Adams of course.

The fuselage is all done, painted and decaled. Surprisingly was the easiest part compared to the wings as the original engines needed a bit of extra width to take the cfm56s

That's what I had to do with the J-57s to fair them to the Derwent nacelles, but the 1/82 scale TF-33s on the original PR19b fitted like they were designed to be there.  ;D

Sounds like it's going well.
