I thought Revell did one...?

BTW, were you interested in the B+W stuff at all?

chrisonord

B+W stuff, no not really, not the sort of stuff I would build really. The Revell one is 1/35th scale too

Never mind then!  I thought I'd give you first dibs on them, as they have some fairly unusual subjects in the product list.

Well done for finding those 'mogs!

How about that for something a bit different ?

BTW you can probably get the the B&W Unimog cab as they do parts and then fit it on a plastic kit chassis

or there is this one :-

Geoff.......STOP IT!!
I have seen those Japanese trucks before, nice looking kit too, but those Unimogs are a bit to expensive for me, and they look like very early ones too.
Cheers for looking though, much appreciated.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Nice ones Chris - I've got one or two of those to build up myself....

Looking at the Saladin next to the AMX-13 makes me wonder what the latter would look like with eight wheels. That could potentially mess with some heads since the real EBR-75 had eight wheels and an oscillating turret and various armoured cars have had the AMX's FL-11 turret.....

Also got to wonder how the AML-60-12 turret would look on an M113 FSV hull and the M3's turret on a regular M113 - basically, what if France bought the M113 instead of building the AMX-VCI? Stick the AMX-13 turret on a Sheridan hull for the complete set..... ;D

Now there is a thought, I have another sheridan in the stash and a couple of surplus AMX-30 turrets spare too, as well as a spare M-60 turret.I will have to start digging when I have finished my cartel armour builds.

Captain Canada

Is that what the first one is ? An AMX-13 ? Very neat tank. What is the recovery tank ? Real or whif ?

Neay stuff regardless.

Cheers CC,
The recovery vehicle is a whif, I used an AMX 30 hull, and built my own top cabin on to it, and used bits from the spares box to furnish it. The winch is scratch built, and the Hiab comes from a resin M977 that met a disastrous fate. The dozer blade is just some bent to shape plasticard, I am not right happy with the dozer blade as it kept moving when I was trying to stick it, but it will have to do for now.As soon as I saw the AMX-13 I thought that will do nicely for what I need, very basic kits and some of the parts are an awkward fit, especially the turret parts. Oh and the kit gun barrel is drell.
cheers

The Matchbox Hotwheels diecast Unimogs are the same size as the resin ones.

chrisonord

I have never seen any matchbox ones before, I will have to look out for some of them
