Here is some more Honduras army vehicles in base coat, the Saracen and Saladin are going to stay green and the rest will be in the new camouflage currently being evaluated by the army.

Chris

When you see the Saladin like this, you realise what a "mean and  hungry look"  it has!  Well done

Thanks for the comments guys I have finished all of these now so will get some more pics up.....when I have finished getting drunk  :drink:
The Saladin now sports a high velocity automatic 40 mm gun, developed by Bofors for the Honduras Navy brown water gun boats. Being very compact and light as it uses a lot of titanium in its construction, the gun was trialled in various vehicles, and the Saladin proved the most compatible. The gun system is now 100% more devastating than the original 76 mm gun. The Saracen has also been given a heavier gun in its turret and now sports a liquid cooled .50 cal gun. Both the Saracen and Saladin have been upgraded with new turbo diesel engines and these two have has a in field modification done to them, this being a repaint of the chassis and undersides with thick coat of bituminous underseal. The have had this done as they are both stationed at a coastal border checkpoint, and the sea spray was eating the vehicles steel away. The ARV is also finished now too so will do some more pics, this is/was the old 1/72nd scale AMX-30/105 by Heller with some plastic card hull mods and some bits from the spares box stuck on it. This vehicle is a light to medium recovery vehicle designed to be able to tow tanks upto the size of the AMX-30, and do a field power plant change using the HIAB. A frame work crane can also be added if needed, but seldom gets used.

Cheers H,
Apart from a couple of LWB Landrovers with trailers I have run out of armour to build for the Honduras Army, as I can't find my other Fennek and Elephant tank transporters. Will be looking into some more stuff for them

What sorta things do you need mate?  Going to get some more kits soon...

One of these would be nice http://www.creativemodels.co.uk/helller_172_amx_13105-p-29636.html
I don't have any trucks for them as yet and the only thing anywhere near suitable is the German MAN trucks or the US M 35. I ideally want some 4x4 and not 6x6 trucks for them.

Seconded. I've been after an AMX 13 for ages, found one on ebay but I can't justify twenty quid for a wargames model... (especially since I'm unemployed).
What if... I had a brain?

chrisonord

They have re released them now and are around the £8-9 mark, so quite a bit cheaper than that

well after a root round the tinterweb, I have found some 1/72nd scale Unimogs, which are ideal for the Honduras army, and the same place does Toyota technicals too and early model landcruisers, which will be good for the cartel. Also I ordered myself an AMX-13/105 and a JS-3 for the Cartel. The JS-3 will probably get up gunned.

I got the unimogs from a guy who casts games vehicles in the states, CPL Overby he is called, he has a page on Facebook showing the stuff he makes. There is some good stuff too, and seenaas no one else makes a Unimog in that scale, they will have to do.
