The carpet monster took it!

Thanks to all

Some progress since the last post.

The afterburner exhaust pipe, afterburner rings and exhaust nozzle

On the last pic, you can see the suppression of the right gun and the modification of the left one.

For the weapons load, I hesitate between :
- 2 AIM-9J + 1 or 2 GBU-12 + telemeter of Mirage F-1CT
- 2 AIM-9J + 1 AS-37 Martel ARM

Leading Observer

This is French -  all the weapons must be from France, not some inferior nation  Or failing that, why not go for some Russian missiles [assume France lurched to the left]

Choose the MARTEL or better : ARMAT, a Wild-Weasel Mirage 2000 could be nice

Leading Observer, Ok, but if I put a couple of russian missile, I need to put a russian engine too... And I haven't any missile or engine from URSS in stock ;D

Slerski, I love the idea of an WW M2000, but what is the difference between Martel and ARMAT ? I have the AS-37 from the Kitty Hawk Jaguar.

If I remember well (because ARMAT was withdrawn several years before I join the Air Force) the ARMAT (Anti-Radar MATra) is an improved version of the MARTEL (Missile, Anti-Radar, TELevision) with a new passive radar seeker, a bigger warhead and a greater range. Externally they are the same. An AS.37 can fit very well under this plane :)

Ok, so it will be an ARMAT ;D

I just need to design a centerline pylon

Slerski

You can use a Mirage 2000N ASMP missile launcher if you have one spare  ;D

Not a bad idea

I haven't the Mirage 2000N but I have the Mirage IVP and part are identic

Slerski

Here is a model of MARTEL pylon if you want. It's for the Mirage IIIE, but might be a good inspiration

But the IVP kit doesn't come with an ASMP or a pylon. It only has the gravity dropped bomb sadly.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

I just checked, there is the pylon and the ASMP in the box of the Heller Mirage IVP ;)

PR19_Kit

In that case Heller have updated the darn thing since I bought my two.

I scratched an ASMP and pylon for mine but of course they released the 2000N with the same things about 6 months later........

That must be it because it is an additional cluster

Small progress today : paint of cockpit and ejection seat...
