Latest from the BBC is that there is more snow coming in from the South East on Sunday. The current prediction shows it still well south of here by 5.00pm, but there is a degree of uncertainty about the timing.

now regards me and the bolton show.

the cloths are ready for the stand if i get there. one red and the other green.

however, having spoken to my lift, he says he won't make a decision about travelling until mid-evening as given the forecast, he is most worried about getting back south.

so i maybe there tomorrow, maybe not. such is life.   :rolleyes:

Just back from a Preston trip and conditions are not bad at all.  1500Sat.
Im pink therefore Im Spam...and not allowed out without an adult

I might not be able to get there tomorrow now either, as transport is a problem for me in this weather. Trevor, if you do go can you please give Geoff those F-18 nozzles, and I will pick them up off him when I can get to his, cheers.

Both versions arrived at 12.17 and 12.21 pm today - go figure..... :rolleyes:

Got a decent-looking main sign now. I'll do some DO NOT TOUCH signs and I'm set.

May have sorted the cloth issue if HoE can't make it: found a plain pale green table cloth.

Had a great time at the show, many thanks IPMS Bolton and those there also had a great time on the Saturday at Halifax and Rochdale, many thanks for your friendship and your company Chris we must go back to that pub in Halifax again sometime.

apols for the no show, but my lift called it very well in deciding to not travel north the evening before.

ninety minutes AFTER he would have picked me up at 0630hrs, it started snowing heavily in warwickshire and did so for about 12 hours  non-stop.

chrisonord, if you PM me with your address, i'll post you those 1/72 F-18 nozzles when i can.

needless to say, i only went out to top up me gas-card and buy a choccy bar and spent the rest of the day bashing stryene!  :tank: :tornado: :dalek:

There's a report in SAMI plus a photo of Weaver's PZL and ILJ. Nice little caption "If these hadn't been on the What If" table you'd have to think hard if this really was "

Perhaps they're getting it at last..........?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
