Seen the SAMI pic now - fame (infamy?) at last! 

I think one of the things that makes a difference is the name cards. Half the fun and interest on here is coming up with the reason why you've stuck the front half of a Spitfire onto the back half of a Bf.109, but if you just put the model on a table without explanation then the casual viewer doesn't know if it's something that was actually done, actually proposed, a credible fantasy, an incredible fantasy, a joke, or if you're just an idiot who can't build models properly.....

You need to recalibrate your specs: it's IAI, as in Israeli Aircraft Industries.....

It's not much fun when the horizontal hold goes west on your reading glasses, as I am well aware!

After some reflection, I've submitted the original thread texts and pics for these two models as front page articles. The idea is that if the mention in the magazine generates any interest in the site, then they'll see the two planes in the picture first and get the story behind them.
