Don't bother going to Peterborough Hobbycraft - the manager clearly hasn't ever heard of the word 'sale'...all they had was ONE Revell 737, with a knackered, open box, for a fiver!  Can't be too interested in making money as there were loads of folks wandering around the model section, looking bemused at the prices...

Well the Reawding Hobbycraft has bugger all in the sale!

Had a look in the Altrincham Hobbycraft at the weekend: no different, just less sale stock.

BTW, Modelzone are still asking £16.00 for the Vostoks that Hobbycraft are flogging for a fiver.... ;D

Sale items on the Hobbycraft website. Note that, if previous years are anything to go by, there may be more than this in the sale at any given branch at the manager's discretion:

Airfix 1/48th Sea Vixen : £25.00
Revell minikit F-15 : £1.00
Revell 1/48th Luftwaffe WWII ground crew : £4.00
All the Airfix Quick Builds : £8.00 each

I'll update this list after I've visited some local stores.

I've been building a few of the old Hobbycraft kits lately and found them surprisingly good actually.  Not sure about their accuracy but they've gone together well enough for me.

A local discount store had them on for $5 back in the early 2000s. Banshees, Clunks, Sabres, Otters, Arrows....bought a pile !

Well, went in the nearest Hobbycraft today: very disappointing. Hardly anything model-related in the sale. It may change as January wears on, of course.
