Super Hunter in Vietnam

Following the disastrous performance of the YF-100A Super Sabre, a competitive flyoff was organised of the aircraft against the Super Hunter, the latter was duly selected and licence built for the USAF as the North American F-100B. Here is an example from the twilight of its career when it was being used as a fighter bomber with the 307th TFS, 31st TFW in Vietnam.

And you beat me to it.  I've been planning the same build (although RAF with Firestreaks) since gathering all the bits at least a year ago. Hoped to be the first but I've paid the price of prevarication!

I will plod o regardless though.

I had the same thought, but the way things are going, I might be the last to complete one..... :rolleyes:

I doubt it as I might get around to building mine by the end of the century at the pace I build stuff.
