The X-3 wings are only challenged in their thin-ness by the F-104, so go for it.  ;D

You could add an F-5 wing to that list Kit ---  in 1/72 scale that's 1.9mm

If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

PR19_Kit

You keep an F-5 wing in your GARDEN Robert?  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

  I wish ---

No, it was at the Aerospace Museum in Calgary, I was involved with designing a better display pylon for a CF-116 that was going to the Military Museum (formerly the Museum of the Regiments).  Actually, the fuselage sat in my brother's workshop yard for almost a year, I got to pore all over it as I came up with a solution to a problem the CAF were having with existing CF-116's attached to similar pylons which are displayed at various places around the country.

This is the one I worked on:

If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Is that the result or the problem?

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

This was the result Alastair, similar sort of set up, just attached to the aircraft differently.  This was the first one to get the treatment, all the others around the country will have the updated connections installed as funds (mostly donations) and volunteers become available.  My brother's foreman used to be a curator at the museum and he and my bro' volunteered their time and materials to the project, as I did.

its not the thin-ness of the wings i'm worried about... they are sooooooo short, they HAVE to be made longer!  ;D

anyway, we is getting off track here.

Another Special Hobby He 100 in 1:72, for a subtle conversion (livery and hardware) into a Luftwaffe service aircraft around 1944, inspired by a profile made up by Flickr fellow user FrancLab.

Also got some Begemot decals for various Yak-38's and MiG-29's - the Yak's for a whiffy livery version, the Fulcrum's because the sheet offers tons of exotic Asian national roundels, some fodder for the Asiarama GB. ;)

Lucky man Nils. We normally only hear of them closing, best of luck to them
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Got a similar thing around here. It's not big, has hilarious opening times, but it is run by an enthusiast. Imagine a model shop where you find NO Revell kits, except as collection residues... visiting is ALWAYS dangerous, but so inspiring. No wonder that my kit pile is growing, gotta stay away.  ;)

Just had a quick trip 'across the water' to Cribs Causeway Halfords for some paint.

Nearly had a repeat of the event when the 'HHA' (Halfords Helpful Assistant) accosted me when I was getting paint for my 777-900 as the SAME guy took a wander past as I looking for a matched red for an RW MD80. He took a look at the BRIGHT red decal sheet in my hand and carried on his way...........  ;D <_<
