From Derby: a pair of S-Model BRDMs (ATGW variant - one to be fitted with Sagger or maybe Malkara and the other with Seacat missiles), some 2400 scale ironclad vessels for Space 1889 naval warfare, a resin Vickers Medium tank, an octet of very nice large heavy-duty wheels/ tires in resin (for a VBCI/ MRAV/ GTK-style vehicle I have yet to design) and a dozen palm trees and MDF bases.

I was surprised to find that the BRDM (actually sold as 9P148) still has the turret on the sprues - bonus!

Out of interest what scale are the BRDM's please...? If it's not to cheeky....how much were they....??
72nd.
S-Model do the standard (turreted) BRDM as well, in that one you get the 5 missile tubes as extras: the only difference between the two kits is the altered hull top (turret/ missile launcher mounting holes and different crew hatches).
Two kits per box for ~£11. And it includes PE for headlamp guards and grab rails.
Either Ebay (some shop in China, about two weeks' delivery time) or Plastic Soldier Company in the UK (the Chinese shop is cheaper for the kit, but postage makes it roughly the same price as buying it from PSC).

Many thanks for the reply....I'll have a look....they a bit like armourfast...?? Think that's the firm that include two kits in a box aimed more at gamers I think, reasonable detail...

Looked up the site.....awesome find....the zvezda 1/144 Hind....app a scale down of the 1/72 one they do.....really....?? I do hope so....£6.50 or the flight box of 3 for £16...oh yes..!! And the chap I spoke to was very helpful.....can see me spending some cash with them......
BODY,BODY....HEAD..!!!!

What's that based on please?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Captain Canada

Had a Tamiya 1/12 scale Repsol Honda RC211V given to me today by a co-worker ! It's Rossi's 2003 MotoGP Championship winning machine. Way cool. Even came with 8 pots of Humbrol and one bottle of Model Master paint. She bought it for her motorcycle-enthusiast husband, and although he started on the engine, he never really got into building it.

Bonus !

Thanks Jenn !

I bought one today and it looks as if the fin is about 1 - 1.5 mm too low at the very top, matching it to a plan in the Aeroguide No. 12. But it's nothing that can't be fixed by any normally talented Whiffer on here.

I have no doubt it will spawn a slew of resin 'correction kits' though........  :-\

Now how did Airfix goof on that, they already had a kit of a GR.3.  Or is that one wrong too ---
