i used to dislike thriftshopping with my mother  :-\
but recently i found it more and more pleasing to find surprises.

2 weeks ago it was a Heller 1/400 french frigate.

Today, i found an Italeri 1/48 Tornado IDS/GR.1 for 5 euro's  ;D
the RAF desert Storm decals would look nicely on a TSR.2

I know I was flapping my gums saying I was going to snag up that Revell Hunter today.....but it's almost $22 dollars and I can get 2 GR.1s for that price ! See what Airfix has done to me ?

Got some Humbrol stuff in Smiths to make use of my 20% off voucher and was surprised to find that the voucher is reusable

Went to the Costa's next door and whilst drinking my cappuccino (large, no chocolate) an overheard conversation gave me an idea for the Airfix Typhoon (Hawker) which Smiths had in stock, so went back and bought it using the voucher again.  Lovely kit and I've built both options in the box but this will be my first Airfix one wiffed (loads of Academy have been wiffed). Will probably need to source some markings for her as they are not that common, but that shouldn't be a problem, hopefully.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I that a new product or the one John did to 'accurise' the old Airfix B6 kit? I think it could also be used on their B-57 as well to make a B6.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
