Where might I find the B.2 conversion? I'm after one for a project.

from Aeroclub

Aeroclub 1/72nd injection moulded Canberra Bomber conversion for the Airfix Bi8  ;D

I that a new product or the one John did to 'accurise' the old Airfix B6 kit? I think it could also be used on their B-57 as well to make a B6.

New product for the new kits http://ipmscanberrasig.webs.com/apps/forums/topics/show/9467309-aeroclub-s-capital-nose-job-

Link here to review and how to order them

And why not? That sounds a mean idea, but I'm not sure quite how 'Whiffy' it would be.

There was a trials version of the PR7 that had wide chord PR9 type wings but I think it also had the smaller Avons too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Two more Fujimi FG1's an older tooling with the Model Alliance Senior Service decal sheet and a new tool fresh from Japan

Only drawback is somebody on BM has rumoured that somebody is doing boxart for an RN Phantom, but that could be for a re-issue or a new kit or conversion in any scale ..... so won't get excited till more details are confirmed if at all

Surprisingly, another Airfix Spitfire Ia/IIa from Uncle Frank.  Plus a DHC Chipmunk canopy so I can have a bash at a two seater like Keith's.

Nice haul Robert ! I'd love to see one of those Argosy kits.

I was foiled again in my quest to get up to the old Hamilton Hobbies store. The guy buys collections and such and always has old and hard to find items...it's like a treasure hunt ! I had to go to Toronto so was going to swing by on the way back, but ran out of time. That's like the 5th time in the last couple of months that I've either been there when he' snot or just missed him ! Argh........
CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

Been after one for nearly 20 years Todd, and it cost about the same as all the others put together to get it

I too was at Hamex, but in a selling role rather than a buying one, and didn't do very well. It was very flat compared to previous years. :(

I consoled myself with buying a Mach 2 Valiant. Yes, I KNOW there's an Airfix one available but it was a steal at the price and I have devious plans for it.....  ;)

A VEB Plasticart An-24 in 1:100 and a Monogram F7F Tigercat in 1:72 - both potential donation kits for a major and silly conversion/kitbashing in the far future.

Which two seater you need a wing for?

Miles away from the target of completing The Plan.  Too many ideas and I always go off at tangents anyway.

Heh!  I know that feeling  :banghead:

I'm not sure which one it is - it's just a spare fuselage that Colin gave to Mitchell...it is rather thick styrene, and he mentioned that it was some sort of pre-production test run.  It looks like a Heller, or Revell wing wil fit...I hope!
