I was packing a Ju88 today to go to a customer and it struck me that I hadn't build any Luftwaffe stuff for quite a while hence the two.  ;)

Well, take that Starfighter, and cut a slot in it across the fuselage, and into the wings.  Then put a suitable sized prop into the gap, and hey presto!  Luft '46 model!! :drink:

Bought the Airfix Valiant B(PR)K Update kit from the local Antics as they didn't have the Typhoon. prop variety.  :banghead:

And no, I don't have a Valiant to upgrade, that would be just silly, wouldn't it?  ;) ;D

Fit it to a Victor, to make an SR2(K) !!

Did you want some Typhoons?  I have 6 of the Airfix prop variety in my sale!

PR19_Kit

Should that Valiant B(PR)K conversion have a clear window part included? The instruction sheet indicates there should be one but mine seems to be missing.  :banghead:

And a Victor B(PR)2 is on the 'possibles' list for the camera door, yes.

I didn't notice the Typhoons in your sale Jason, sorry. A couple of them would be quite nice, yes.

The clear bit is in the standard Valiant kit anyway.

Ahah, that explains it, thanks. Looks like a Kristal Kleer job then.  ;D

I wonder why they put the clear bit in the standard kit when there isn't anywhere for it to go? Odd.......

There's an article in the Airfix mag about the procedures in choosing the models they make. That might explain the reason why.

Thorvic

The reasons easy, the initial kit was supposed to have the PR and Tanker options in as standard as it was going to be a one off issue as per the Nimrod, however with the switch back to a conventional release coupled with more standard kit options they opted for a seperate issue of the parts and decals for the variants.

I'm sure if kit asked he could get the door glazing parts from somebody planning to do either the bomber or the Tanker versions.

Won off eBay 1/72 Monogram Space Shuttle.
Been searching through previous ideas on this site for some background info for a what-if build. I'm not too sure if the shuttle could be transformed back into aircraft but the possibility of combining it with a B-52, some sort of Guppy or a Vulcan space plane springs to mind. :banghead:
