Revell 1/72 Stearman Kaydett.

Anybody know if Crunchie or Utterly Butterly decals are available???  Otherwise I might do it in Tiger Moth colours, maybe RAF with high demarcation or 50's FAA or maybe even that bright red/yellow Swedish sceme?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The Wooksta!

From a small spree in Modelzone:

5 x Airfix Spitfire PR XIX
2 x Airfix Spitfire F.IXc

The IXs are in the newer blueish grey plastic and - best of all - come with two canopies.

If you can find them on the web and you've got a a decent inkjet printer......

From todays Birmingham show

Airfix Lockheed C-130E Hercules.
Academy Boeing KC-97L.
Hasegawa Eurofighter Typhoon.
Airfix Kamov Ka-25A/C.
Airfix Rockwell OV-10D Bronco.
Esci Douglas R4D-5 Dakota.

And I very nearly succumbed to a Dragon 1/72nd Saturn V. But even reduced to £120 it was a bit to much to justify.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Ditto Midlands Expo (all 1/72):

Off OGL - Kopro Piper Cub and some very handy resin bits.
Off H of Eff - Matchbox Mosquito
From elsewhere - Airfix Do215 and Revell F-101B

Kopro Piper Cub, resin bits and Airfix Do215 for whiffery, the rest real world.

Good to see (cast in order of appearance) Trev, Martin and Kit.  Nice show; not been before and with the outlaws living less than 15 mins away I think I can persuade Mrs Kitbasher (let's call her Kitbasherbasher) to include it in a weekend trip to see them in future.

BTW Trev, the type that could fit the monoplane bill we discussed is the SMER (ex-Heller) Morane Saulnier MS 225.  The Heller PZL.11 and Kopro Škoda D-1 may also fit the bill.

I like Monogram kits.

It's a nice kit  Did mine as Nationalist Chinese
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

A friend of mine has one, too (and he also claims the kit to be good), he did it in olive drab/neutral grey - pretty straightforward. The P-40Q is actually a pretty plane (in contrast to the huge rest of the family...), and I guess that it will look really good in NMF and with bright "rally stripes" all around.
