The Wooksta!

Few ebay wins:

Airfix German Recce set x2
One's the Holy Grail boxing and the plastic is the correct sand colour too.  One of the ones I recently acquired had the green plastic Airfix used for their armour.  Hmmmn.  One of the kits I bought in '87 had that plastic so as far as nostalgia goes, it's okay, but ideally I'd like to build the sand one.  So that's what's happening with this one.  May keep an eye out for another.

Airkit Spitfire F21
Another one of my Holy Grail kits.  Always try to get these if they pop up.  Still want the Seafire 45 he did, just for completist reasons.

Arrived today, a resin kit of this:

That's a Speed Mirage Wolkeschatze Stage 3, in case you were wondering, from the Five Star Stories manga. 1:100 scale kit, about 25cm tall. Giant robot with a city-busting gun = happy me. ;D Might modify the pose slightly, depending on how the parts break down.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

The Wooksta!

Just won on ebay  - and for an absolute steal of a price at under twelve notes:

Focke-Wulf 3x1000 Entwurf C

It's the one that looks like a baby Vulcan.

I don't build Luftwaffe, have no intention going back to it but for that cheap, it would be stupid to turn it down.  RAF captured makings for that one.

I still can't believe I got it that cheap!

For curiosity, was that really the C version, or the 1/72 B model from Planet Models? According to Luft 46 http://www.luft46.com/fw/fw.html, the B concept was the flying wing design, while the C project was a conventional swept wing layout. I haven't seen a kit of that one so far.

The Planet one.  I've seen reference to as the C and B and TBH, C makes most sense.

It's a lovely kit.  Did it some years back but don't have the model any longer.  I suspect it was stolen.

Another ebay win:

MPM SpitfirePR XIX.

The good one that came with the millenium set which was based on a remastered Fujimi kit and not the horrid original that used an old CMK one that was well and truly wrong.

Found myself in Modelzone Holborn last week, no idea how.

Left with a shiny new HobbyBoss Chinese Z-10 Attack Helicopter. Nice moulding, lots of weapons, unique model kit. Boxart makes it look like a cross between a Eurocopter Tiger and a Kamov Ka-58 Black Ghost.
