.......
1/72 XF-85 Goblin
1/72 Lockheed XFV-1
........

Which manufacturers for those two?

Valom & MPM

That's good, the Valom XFV-1 is by far the best one around, despite the old Pegasus one being the only kit box in the world with my name on it.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Just happened to be in the Modelzone at the Metro Centre this morning

I've still not found this branch, admittedly I've only been a couple of times but is it the Flying Dutchman of model shops ? :banghead:
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thorvic

Off eBay:-

1/72 Hobbyboss Westland Lynx MK88 (the only one with the Sea Skua fit !!! :banghead:) will be a real HAS8 me thinks

Father Ennis

FedX just brought me a Trumpter T-24 tank kit and two packages of German heads and finally,a tube of Squadron green putty. Now I can get some modeling done !!!

Aircav

Went down to York Race Course today for a Model Railway Show with Paul, got some A3 plastic card of various thickness, some 009 Parkside Dundas rolling stock plus some 00 white metal figures.  ;D
The show itself was quite good but I was about to kill the next person that bumped into me wearing a backpack, bloody things should be banned at shows.  :banghead: :banghead:

Its next to the Works bookshop in the blue section on the first floor opposite Poundland. If you find Primark and carry on walking past Sports Direct you'll get there. ;D

I got myself an Italeri Merlin HC" today from West drayton. I only went into get my nephew the Airfix Vulcan for his birthday. Why am I buying so many helicopters these days? And is it curable??

Nope just look at OGLs trending towards the egg wisk corp (me thinks Aircav may be corrupting people )

As it happens i had a Revell Seaking AEW delivered today that i snagged off eBay  :banghead:

Hmm You may well be right Geoff.

added this week..............
Two Italeri Westland Wessex HU-5's
one Italeri Sikorsky UH-34D.
one Airfix Sikorsky SH-3D Seaking.
one Fujimi Bell AH-1S Cobra.
All via ebay, and all 1/72nd (as usual)

The latest pair of ebay wins will break this chopper buying frenzy........But more on them when they arrive here in the swamps.
I always hope for the best.

experience has taught me to expect the worst.

It seems like the curse of the copter buying has hit here pretty hard at the moment.....I wonder if we should ask Rad if there is a rritual that we can perform to break said curse?

I haven't bought any helicopters - do I win £5?

Revell 1/72 Fennek. Lovely little kit and a bargain at £3 (down from a tenner, that was never going to happen for a tiny scout car).  Might pick up another one or two at that price.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
