Bought in the vendor area at a contest weeks ago:
Academy 1/48 F-22
AMT/Ertl Star Wars Battle of Hoth action scene diorama.

Ordered a few days ago:
Gallery Models 1/350 USS Wasp amphib assault ship.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

Went to Anniston, AL today for their show. Bought 3 kits, then won some raffle prizes. And then did some creative trading with the couple prizes I didn't want. Ended up with the following,  all in 1/72nd.

Special Hobby 1/72 Trent Meteor - FAA torpedo aircraft ?
Airfix 1/72 Spitfire Mk I/II. The one with the 1938 early option. Flat canopy etc. Will be Belgian 1939

De Lux materials "Perfect Plastic Putty" heard good reports about this.

Good show but tiring (no idea what Aircav felt like as he was driving but I was knackered) Good to see all the faces if only briefly for some as it's a big show in terms of area and you can miss people wanderng around let alone traders  :banghead: So apolgies if I missed anyone
