for the princely sum of
£5
1/32 Matchbox DH Tiger Moth, complete with decals and 3 versions can be built from the box. Wheeled RAF/RCAF, Civvie wheeled or floats and and RCAF Float version.

Not sure where it fits my planned builds and themes, but for £5!!!!
too old for a paper round, too young for me pensions, dammit, back to work then!

Wooksta: What about one of those plates that are used for circus workshops, for plate-spinning? They're about the right shape.

My latest additions are:

Airfix 1:144 Vostok I, extremely cheaply via Evilbay. I wanted some rocket nozzles, and the rest of the kit may well end up being built as the rocket from the excellent Wings of Honneamise anime (which is very Vostok-ish anyway).

From the extremely generous Army of One:

Airfix 1:72 Typhoon IB (no idea what to do with it yet, but it may well involve S-guns and sharkmouths. Or it could be FAA, or Russian, or anything!)
Airfix 1:72 Vampire T.11 (to be hacked about quite drastically and bashed with other bits for the second in a series of three builds)

These two were retrieved for me from his local Modelzone (they haven't reached my neck of the woods yet) and posted at his expense. If that wasn't generous enough, he also included another kit, an Airfix Grumman Gosling! TOP man! I will have to think of something appropriate to do with the little amphib as a tribute..
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

May just work.  As long as they're plastic.

From ebay:

2 x 1/72nd PZL P.24s........

Proper injection-moulded ones too. No idea of the manufacturer: there's just an address on the header card...

Thanks to Thorvic for drawing my attention to one of them, which then linked to the other, and thanks to Azur for putting out a nice new one at £16 which I'm guessing is why collectors are dumping all these old ones for a few quid each: they used to be rare as hen's teeth.

It looks like a P.11c would look if it had a French engine, a canopy and spats.....

Described like that you could almost imagine it as a 30's Air Racer

Thats where the  Evil  bit in Evil Kit Finder General comes in as i have a habit of remembering what people have expressed an interest in as well as subject matter that may appeal to their tastes when i see it. Nice when it pays off however  ;D

Sounds like you may have fun with them and for a combined price less than the Azur boxing

Very much so. I really struggled to pick up a couple a few years ago. Think I got one at E-Day and the other off the Comet stand at Telford, both at a good price, but they took ages to find. The Azure one is very nice btw

Mr D'Jester here's the Wikki link.
