Spent most of the morning trying to get to a Modelzone, with a 50% success rate... :banghead: Got to the Trafford Centre nice and early (I can't stand the crowds when it fills up), but with no sign of MZ actually opening by 10.15, I decided to go to the Deansgate branch then come back later. Unfortunately, the middle of Manchester is screwed up today for some pushbiking event, so by the time I'd got there, paid through the nose to park, and then got pushed into getting on the motorway going the wrong way when trying to get back, I'd had enough and came home. Might try again one night in the week.

Anyway, got a couple of trainers-with teeth:

Eduard 1/72nd weekend edition Aero L-39ZO Albatross
Italeri 1/72nd Aermacchi MB 326K Impala

Got to Trafford Centre Modelzone after work tonight. No more news on the administration, but apparently there may be a sale starting soon, though there's no indication of what will be in it.

Anyway, got:

Italeri 1/72nd MH-47E SOA Chinook
4 x Revell enamels
2 x Revell deluxe brushes (which look really nice)
1 x Contacta Liquid

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Zizacktly! Are you going to take it to a model show when it's done, or just invite the organisers to hold the show in the model?  ;)

Box was 41"L x 16.5"W x 5.5"D, US$30 for shipping from the States.  The box that a 1/72 Blackbird C-5 came in was twice as big and the box a 1/72 747 and 1/72 An-22 came in from Hannants was much bigger than that again (still got it somewhere --- )
