From the Hereford Model Centre today,  on a 'spur of the moment' trip for myself and Mrs_PR19 :-

Wish I'd known you were in Hereford!  Rheged family were on holiday  in the area at the time and I'd have been delighted to buy you a cuppa.  Rheged minimus  and I managed to spend some cash on balsa and glues in the same place......before Madame spent  all  the rest in the antique shops of Leominster.

A masterpiece of bad timing on both our parts then. We had lunch in Cafe Ascari, which not only supplies good food and drink but is a shrine to Alberto Ascari, the 1950s GP driver. They have spme SUPERB piccies of him and his cars on the walls.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

No it never does stop, I wonder if there's a support group ?

Seriously I've got to the point (age actually) where I realise I can't build even 10% of the stash so I'm downsizing it and concentrating on what I know I want to build. I still add to it however but do try and think about it before hitting the "buy" button - Airfix are making me spend at the moment and in all honest more power to their elbow  ;D

Ah but you are building at a decent rate at the moment, i suppose it doesnt help that Airfix are producung such buildable kits at the moment, although i notice you like a nice resin kit to do as a challenge at the same time.

Handy tip: if someone "helpfully" advises you to put them all on a spreadsheet and add up what they cost, DON'T LISTEN TO THEM!!!! You'll scare yourself silly...... ;)

Very much so Geoff and most of the resins I'm tackling at the moment are good or goodish ones so go together pretty well.
