Plus a set of knives (kitchen) for £20 reduced from £40 in the Fenwicks sale. I was *exceedingly* tempted (ie about to swap the ones I'd just bought and pay the difference) with the Sabatier set at £99 but that was reduced from £350.  Might just get it anyway as an investment.

If you can manage to raise the cash,Sabatier knives are a good long-term investment and should serve you well for a whole career.  I have a Sabatier 8 inch cook's knife I bought (much reduced) in 1972  and it's still one of the best I have in our kitchen.

I'm looking forward to the appearance in due course of further Supermarine splendour!!

Pegasus 1/72nd Apollo 27 spaceship  for what I thought was a very reasonable price, although I've since realised that retailers are discounting them compared to their original shop price, so it's more "new average" than "cheap". Still the difference between me regarding it as "fair" or "expensive" though.....

Starline 1/24th Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans Mk.I. This is actually a ready-made "collectors" model, but it's all plastic rather than die-cast, so readily modifiable with a bit of careful dismantling. To form the basis, hopefully, of Jet Girl's bike from Tank Girl No.36, if I can source a suitable figure to sit on it.....

Pegasus 1/72nd Apollo 27 spaceship 

Got my eye on a Pegasus Mercury 9 that might be going cheap. I've baulked at the asking price of £37 and I can't believe I passed one up at Telford for £20, I've fancied this kit even before it came out.

There IS no hope, once you've got past a count of 10 unbuilt kits you're on the slippery slope and there's no way off......

You're obviously doing a grand job of bringing up the mini-CBEs up in the correct way, more power to your elbow.

2 x 1/48th RAF WWI 112lb Bombs and Racks - because they are wonderful "cartoon" bombs for steampunk.
2 x 1/72nd Grumman Hawkeye propellors.

Italeri Sunderland. Beautiful piece of work, both the original and the kit. Owns a place of reverence in any history book or model stash. Probably hold on to it until I can build it as a real RCAF type, or give it to my buddy Rat in homage to a great man that he calls Dad. Either way, I'm sure beer will be involved.....
