The Wooksta!

Two more Ventura Spitfires, courtesy of ebay.  Local seller too:

Spitfire F.VIIc
Spitfire FXIVe

The latter is more likely to become a 21 - the lower wing is a pig to work with.

You know, the way you're going with Spit's, you're going to have more than the entire production run of the real thing!!

I *may* well reach 4 figures, but I doubt anywhere near the Vickers production run.

Club night - had a built up Spitfire F.XII donated.  Needs a new prop, canopy and u/c but looks workable.  Already have a use in mind for it - one of the Whirlwind squadrons using them as low level fighter bombers.

Got home to find another ebay win - Xtrakit Spitfire F22 for a pittance.  Cue using the spare FR fuselage from the SH Seafire 46 and another FR22 is born.  Or maybe another FR26 if I can get a spare FR47 lower cowl.  Saves using the hen's teeth CMR 96 tool Seafire FR47 kit (although I have a pair in the stash...)

An 1:72 FW 190 A-5/V14 (the one with the torpedo) from MPM - NARSES2's "Italian job" is pretty inspiring. Great idea that needs a sister ship  ;D

Also shot another Matchbox Skyknight on ebay - low bid of only EUR 4,-, noone wanted it...

Also got an 1:72 Italeri SAAB Gripen as a donation froma friend. Already got a vague idea for what to make of it, might become a late addition to the Asiarama GB.

Eastern Express 1/144th Il96-300 PU arrived from Creative today. Might do it Cubana or might whatif it as some other airline, have to see what's in my decal spares tin.

1/72nd Quad Tilt Rotor, 1/144th V/STOL E2 Hawkeye (stalled)

The Wooksta!

Took delivery of the Hornets and Seafire from Gary and was also given a copy of the HF21 wing from the CMR Spitfire F23.  It'll either get married up to am MPM 19 fusleage for yet another attempt at an HF21 (I have two plus a third on the go) or a spare AZ 22/24 fuselage to do the definitive Valiant.

I know the lad that did the clone so may be able to borrow the mould.  ;D

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

From ebay:

Fujimi Spitfire PR19

However, it'll probably end up as an armed low back, possibly a 14.

It was supposed to be out months back, along with the Spitfire VIII and Spitfire XIV sheets.  I've got it on order with Uncle Frank anyhoo, but ta for spotting it.

Quite like the RAuxAF version in High Speed Silver.  May hang onto that XVIe that's awaiting decals for it coming in.
