1/72nd Hasegawa:

X-29

Was that from the Kit Sale? If so I hope it was from my collection, it'd be nice to know it'd had gone to a good home.  ;D

If so it'd have 10385 printed on its label somewhere.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I got one from there.

Daft thing was, there were a number on the second hand traders stands for around the £10 mark.

Bit of a no brainer where you would actually buy it from.

On return home, I find I've won a bundle of 8 Spitfire kits on ebay.  2 are unusable (Revell Vb and old tool Airfix 9, although the former may provide some spares), but the rest will find their way into The Plan at some stage.

Two of the haul were the Airfix Vb with the Vc wing.  The C wing is IMO unusable, being too thick and crude.  However, these boxings did have the arrestor hook bits which were only on the Club Edition with Seafire IIc markings.  Result!  Both kits also had decent decals, so some SAAF whifed Spits could well be on the cards at some stage.  Most likely low back LFIXe but possibly a XIV.  Standard fighter or fighter-recce I'll decide nearer the time.
