A delayed Father's Day pressie from daughter #1, she who ISN'T the RAF's Best Air Traffic Controller but who does know lots about Airfix release dates. New Airfix Hurricane I and a post-war F-51 D, 2 rolls of Tamiya tape, two Revell Contacta glue dispensers. Why do I love this girl?

Collection of part started kits for spares/repairs, which includes several Spitfires and an Airfix Lancaster (1979 tool).  The rest is just so much junk.

This has arrived.  The Lancaster is likely to end up as a tanker or an AEW - in flight as there's no u/c.  There's a Revell/Monogram Tornado (surplus to requirements), an Academy Wildcat (may actually do this in RAF markings at Martlesham Heath - delivered aircraft which fled here from France).  A complete Hasegawa Spitfire mk Ia (that'll go back on ebay), 2 Hawk/Testors Spitfire F22s (one is going into the Collectors box), a Brigade Spitfire 12 conversion set plus Aeroclub exhausts (may end up as a mk IVa or an early Griffon PR bird) and a box full of Heller Vb bits, which makes two complete airframes and some spares plus another Hasegawa mk Ia.  Also a Frog/Novo Hurricane, which I may well build for the hell of it.

Very true, and I know you'll do a smashing job on them!  - couldn't believe the computer/site/reality threw a fit just as I tried to bid on it...   I was really hoping to find a spare wing for the two seat fuselage Colin (Freightdog) gave to Mitchell at the last Brampton show...

Anyway, how close are you now to achieving your goal with the Spitfires?

Miles away from the target of completing The Plan.  Too many ideas and I always go off at tangents anyway.

Just found (and bought online) a reasonably priced Heller Saab 32 Lansen (and an idea how to whif it in Swedish service)!

Off eBay an Airfix 1/72nd Canberra B i 8 to go with the Aeroclub B 2 conversion set (These Canberras are getting hard to find since they went OOP !)
plus 1/72 Revell Eurofighter Typhoon single seater for a project in the new year
