#1545
Arrived from ebay today

1 x 1/72 Hasegawa MV-22B Osprey for only £26.99!

Had to buy it at that price, Hannants sell it is just under £40. Going to be a paint job conversion with possibly a few little add-ons here and there for effect  ;D

Forogt to say what I got at the London show last weekend!

One Italeri F-19 Stealth for £5. The Aviation Hobby Shop were having a really good sale of older kits at great prices. They were flogging Airfix SR.N4 hovercraft for £15... nearly succumbed.

An oddity from Roden in 1/72 . The Opel Blitzbus Ludewig Aero was a 20 seater bus body on an Opel Blitz 3-ton truck chassis built in the late 1930's. It has a unique round aircraft style engine cover, a sweep down aerodynamic rear and a large tailfin.

The colour scheme is boring white and this is a what-if site so..... I'm thinking of London Green Line buses as they once served my hometown. Let's say they acquire a pair for trial purposes. ;D

Emhar 1/72 A7V.

Completes my collection of Emhar WWI tank kits and adds further to my current Great War fetish.

Does that include the Tadpole with Motar or is that a future release you're waiting for ?

A set of 1:72 CF-188 Low-viz decals (Leading Edge), stashed away for an in-service CF-105 Arrow in a wraparound cammo scheme. Somewhere in the far future...

Try and get the new Hobbycraft Avro Arrow if you can it has the 3 view drawing on the box top and is the new tool with many of the shape issues corrected

Thanks for the tip - I probably have the old one. Was a lucky find in a local model store some time ago, and it will probably end up in the aggressor scheme that's been used on the CGs in the "Project Terminated" book. Still wonderding which FS tones these are, but I'll improvise, anyway. But I'll watch out for the re-issue, maybe I find one around here.

Tell us more please, in a separate thread if need be. I doubt I'll get hold of mine until Boxing Day.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Really nice little kit with plenty of whiffing possibilities for those who are bus minded

Yeah, I'll probably pick the tadpole up when it's out, it looked good at Telford.  On the same theme, I picked up an Airfix Mark I Female recently (to be a Mark II as this is what the kit actually represents) and I'll probably pick up one or two of the Master Box Mark I's.  Thinking of getting another Airfix Mark I as a Mark III.

I've got an Early War Miniatures Mark VIII International and Mark IX Troop Carrier as well as a Toko Sopwith Salamander on the Christmas list.  I've got an incomplete idea of something around Plan 1919 forming in my head.  Really I need a Medium D to pull this off, but I might go with a Medium C instead since the former never entered service.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The Mark IX carried 50 troops, but as I recall it was so fume filled that even a reasonably determined pack of Brownies could have bested them for up to an hour after they disembarked

(My little sister took Brownies for 25 years, and I know first hand the chaos they can create)

A dio of the troops reeling out of the tank might be entertaining---------with or without the Brownies.
