I got a plastic kit.... in my Christmas cracker! Tiny little plane like a P-26 Peashooter about the size of a penny!

PR19_Kit

Those Lightnings must be selling like hot cakes!

I just noticed that the clear sprue has two unused parts, like rounded off  Firestreak nose cones. I can't IMAGINE what they're for.......  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Mrs z gave me a piece of paper with "coming soon" and this picture on it.

Woo hoo!

Plus I treated myself to A Trumpeter 1/72 Wyvern to add to my PDRV airforce.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

an airfix  quad bike set,  a part blue, part clear 28mm scale tardis, the brick lane commune gang for in her majesty's name, and a 28mm hotel complex,

take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.

I got ANOTHER two Airfix Lightning F2As today for my Christmas and birthday pressies, total count now four.

My #1 daughter, who works in the model dept. of 'A major Oxford department store' said they ordered a box of 48, and had 26 pre-orders. They'd sold ALL of them by the end of the first day! I said they'd never make enough of them.

Surely a conversion to an F6 isn't THAT difficult? One could use bits from the Frog/Hasegawa/Revell kit, like the Red Tops and the tanks and Bob's your uncle.
