Hello !!

My very first 2013 finished kit is a Focke Wulf TL-Jäger in service in the Aviazione nazionale repubblicana de la Repubblica sociale italiana (ANR de la RSI).

The story :

January 1943 : Thanks to an audacious and very risky action, the Wehrmacht breaks the encircling of the 6th Army in Stalingrad and, by the way, destroys several soviet armies. In spite of rough and costly fights, the OKL pushes forward. Finally, in june 1943, Ukraina and Caucase fell in the hands of the Germans. The Soviets, exhausted, have to retreat to constitute new forces. Stalin was so angry that he suffers on a cerebral fatality, empeaching him to rule the State. Internal troubles shake the Kremlin. Revolutions after revolutions, defeats after defeats, Russia stops the war, conceiding many territories to the IIIrd Reich. Hitler, unpleased with this result (he aimed the total destruction of USSR), accepts, because of the severe situation in the south. The Allied have conquered Africa and, even, have reached Italy, riding to Roma!
December 1944 : The Allies have reached the Rhine river. Italy has partialy joined them. But, more quickly than they hoped, german scientists could create a new very powerfull bomb. Anvers, a main seaport for the Allies, is the target of a live test. The results are terrific. The city has desappered and human losses are awfull. Terrified, being affraid of such an apocalypse dive on London, Allies call for a cease fire.
March 1945 : Since three months plays a kind of cold war. The RSI remains besides Germany, but is not able to develop and produce armament enough. It has to negociate licence productions. Germans, suspicious of this weak ally, agree with licences only for materials they do not want. Then the Focke-Wulf TL-Jäger Flitzer comes in production in FIAT facilities near Milano.
November 1945 : The first units of the Freccia (Arrow, Flitzer in german) come in service in ANR.

The kit :

Revell has produced this kit in 1996. I have met some difficulties with the adjustments. I used some casks of whisky mastic...
Acrylic paints: Xtracolor for RLM 76 and Tamiya pour l'extrados (RLM 74 et 75). My first try for the mottled camo is a check : bad dilution.  :-\
Decals come from the box and from an old ESCI for the flags, insignas and numbers.

Stop padding, photos :

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
