Whilst searching for 1/72nd scale Unimogs I found this guy's page on Facebook. He makes resin vehicles and other bits for wargamers in 1/72nd scale, and he makes UNIMOGS!! yippee. Anyhow, I bit the bullet and ordered some from him in the States and in just over a week and for the measly cost of just over £14 for the two mogs These little lovelies arrived. Ok they don't have windows but that is no big deal for me when working with resin and super glue, as I wreck windows and canopies like no ones business. The detail is nice and they will do just right for my Honduras army transport needs. Here is a few pics of the unbuilt vehicles.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

They look quite good, particularly considering the price.  The MG34 is exquisitely done in resin.  The flash is not excessive and they are quite adequate as models go.  Windows - who needs them?  Just paint the interior black and no one will notice.  Paint the undersides the same colour and again, it will be perfectly OK.  I'd paint the tyres a dark grey, to provide a little bit of contrast.  Keep the weathering off the black areas and they'll look like shadow.  If you really need windows, paint the interior black and then fill the holes with Krystal-Klear.   ;D

The cab has no provision for windows, as it is a solid part. with the frame outlined onto it. I am just going to paint it a darkish blue and see how it goes from there.

Here is another purchase from this very talented guy, these toyotas will be for my Cartel forces, and will look right at home with all the other rag tag armour and vehicles owned by the Cartel. The detail is again very good, and not a lot of work is needed to clean the flash off. The .50 cals I think would need the most care though as they are quite delicate. One of these as you can see has had the cab done in clear resin, I think I will have to paint an interior colour on first then the main colour, as the resin is solid. Hopefully this will turn out ok as the detail on the outside is really good. These again cost me just over £14 for the pair and like the Unimogs are to me great value for the cash.

I bought my Unimogs from S&S Models in the uk.  E-mail Shaun at sales@sandsmodels.com for a list.  The Unimogs come in a variety of cabs, bodies and Chassis.  The model comes as a metal chassis and wheels with resin cab and body.  The weapons are available separately.  They are about £10 for Short Wheel Base versions though prices have just increased!

Neat stuff Chris ! I have always liked the rugged look of those old Toyotas. Molding the cab in clear is a neat idea too. Be interesting to see how it looks when painted.

The little unimogs are pretty sweet too. They do look funny with no cab top tho !

What scale are the Unimogs please Chris?

All of his stuff is 1/72nd scale Kit, he also does a lot of WW2 stuff, including some whatif panzers. If you have facebook, have a look on his page CPL Overby's motorpool, he has a lot of his stuff on there.

near enough for me too Kit, as I only build in 1/72nd scale, and some vehicles are only made in 1/76th. The things we have to do eh?
I will be building the trucks as soon as I finish my 4 tanks and an APC for the Cartel, so will put some more pics up
