A right bunch of reprobates if ever I saw one!  ;D

But well done to you all for getting there.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

No problems at all with snow locally: you can see more snow out of that window behind us than I saw on the way up.

Thanks to everyone who showed up: think it went off well. The somewhat odd cloth colours are down to Sod's Law: I had a pale blue one to go next to that green one, but when I put it out it had a damn great mark in the middle of it, so the red one had to do. I reckoned that if Howard of Effingham had made it up, we could use his red cloth on the other half, but he never made it.

Piccies soon.

Well here's some pics. I really need to sort out my photography because these are a bit disappointing to be honest.

The full set is here: http://s35.photobucket.com/albums/d165/hws5mp/Bolton%20Show%202013/

These are the whiffy highlights:

This, and all the non-whiff aircraft around it, were from a novel apparently. It's called The Mandalay Conspiracy by Lloyd R Martin. There's a website here: http://www.tsr2blackdeuce.com/

Thanks thats an old one of mine,  The  Cutless is very similar to an Arado design, so I used it for part of the Fatherland build and the sweets are Ouzo flavored.

The Wooksta!

You mean one of teh variations on the E.583.  Planet did one of them in 2000 - I've a mainly assembled one somewhere.  Really should finish it but it would have to have RAF captured markings.

Come to think of it, there's an He 343 too.

There was some great dioramas on display built by the Air Cadets

With some wonderful large scale Space 1999 craft being built

This Warhammer vehicle had some very nice detail.

And this scratch built Bridger was a good example of time and patience.

Chris and I spotted these 105mm Guns on their way down the A1M on Saturday
