Captain Canada

Ya went with a red one. Did a mask and painted some silver to do a test run. Lost a window too.

I hope the missing window is not the windscreen (difficult to replace)... :-\
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Captain Canada

No it's the middle window in this pic. Should be ok as it's hard to see anyway. I might just cut a small piece of clear perspex and pose it open with a small rod propping it up. Hey...why not !

The Wooksta!

I've a few part started ones that i wanted to add some unit markings to - they were intended to ferry about V-bomber crews so one with, say, 9 sqn or 617 sqn markings would be quite apt.

How about swept wings? ;D

Been done, but sadly long dead. It had two turbo-fans from an odd-scale C-5 Galaxy that came as a gift from Kellogs for eating 3,976 tons of Corn Flakes
I called it the Beagle Dirk (old Scots name for a Dagger).

That's pretty cool Jim ! Too bad there's no pics of it....

Okay then Lee, maybe I'll make her a 408 Goose Squadron bird, for moving crews out from Edmonton to places like Churchill or Alert or Goose itself !

Small update today : Got both flashes on, need to touch up some paint. Added the tip tanks and painted them up. Found some wheels to fit her as I lost the originals.

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

Captain Canada

Thanks guys. I should have had this and the Tucano finished during my days off, but I have been pre-occupied with all this 144th scale stuff I have on the go. That and the fact that I'm currently addicted to stinking Netflix....Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, and Lost ! Oi oi oi......

I might want a larger aircraft for my "Air Affaires". Where do you put the buffet table and where is the dance floor?  :banghead:
