Sure?  I know this will cook quite happily with Diesel

Personally, I've never really been able to reconcile the contradictions in the fascination with Zombies.  How do you kill something that is already dead?

Coleman makes a dual fuel camp stove as well as a kerosene lantern, and I'm sure there are mod kits to burn kerosene in the stove.  So, yeah, cooking with diesel.

You don't need fire anyway, you have to take out a zombie's brain, not burn his clothes off......

Thinking of later, in a fortified encampment.  You know- some food, some pre-Apocalypse brews, etc.

Flamethrowers.  Where's the flamethrowers?
From what I understand Zombies lack the capability of feeling pain so setting fire to them would just result in them marching toward you in flames! :o They mostly opperate off the cerebral cortex or "Dinosaur brain" at the rear base of the skull so that is the target of head shots: Cut off the flow of the little thinking power they still possess to the body.
You can tell the smart Zombies: They still know how to try doorknobs instead of just smashing against the door itself.

Or put Thriller on loop on your mp3 or mp4 player (you keep the MP5), hooked up to a solar cell charging the car battery connected to the player, and just slip away...

Nice effort by Hyundai but they miss the mark.

The last thing you want on your ZAEV (Zombie Apocalypse Escape Vehicle) are blades, spikes, gaps, handles and or anything which would allow a zombie to grab onto the vehicle or leave zombie bits stuck to the vehicle.

Yeah, I know, it doesn't look as sexy and all that but I'd think something as smooth as possible with the absolute minimum gaps between panels and parts would be it.  On the bottom of the vehicle it'd have to be something like they have for off road racers that has a panel which covers all the bits 'n bobs underneath in order to prevent rocks and stumps 'n such from jamming up into the mechanisms under the vehicle.  For the ZAEV the same would apply.

Some sort of plow on the front would be good, if also heavy.  Perhaps just a more substantial bumper.  I like the caged / screened windows as it would be better those get bent by zombie impacts than the glass get shattered.

A nice high ground clearance would be good to as you'd not only be able to drive over the zombies but also drive over what debris is left in the roadways after the Zombie Apocalypse takes place.

Ideally, a multi-fuel engine would be the thing but those aren't all that common so I guess a diesel would be it.  One other good thing about diesel is that diesel fuel will remain viable for a long, long time.  Much longer than gasoline.  So, if the Zombie Apocalypse manages to truly cause the entire breakdown of society and not just a temporary one, then having continued fuel supply is a big consideration.
Wherever you go, there you are!

We should have a zombie group build where we take normal cars and turn them into zombie proof death machines
Thanks

Outstanding idea !!!   Zombie Group Build !!!!!!

Ooooohhhh! I LIKE that idea! An everyday street or off-road type vehicle (Still street legal) to plow through the Zombie hordes as you run to the corner market for fist aide supplies, canned goods and of course liquid refreshment and snacks!  ;D
But please give us more experienced (Older to you pups!) modelers a chance to get it done.
