Rheged

Label it "temporary replacement"  and I can't see anyone getting stroppy about it.
"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you....."
It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

A sign underneath saying "Sorry but the steam cleaning shrank it." might be humorous.
"Just which planet are you from again"?

Actually, maybe you need this near 1/6 scale one instead ----

Thanks for the suggestions guys ! LOL. I was actually after a 32nd scale one but since my LHS guy isn't going for it I'm not paying the big bucks for a large scale bird. Unless I can find a cheap one.....

A bit of bog and a lick of paint and she'll be flying again in no time.   ;D

Up the road from me in Dandenong they have a Huey on a stick outside the RSL (Returned and Services League).
One side has Aussie markings, the other US.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Most RSLs have a piece of retired military equipment outside them.  Artillery is very common and you see the odd tank but as far as I know Dandenong is the only one with an aircraft.
As you approach from the North the road drops so it appears to rise as get closer.
I haven't driven that way for ages.  I must make a detour next time i'm in the area.

It needs one of these to tag along ---

Nothing better than a good ol' fashioned Cobra ! Love that chopper !

I used to photograph every monument, memorial and piece of artillery I saw in my travels. Have to gather up my collection sometime and sort it out. I love that stuff, and I fear our generation may be one of the last to appreciate it, or it's true meaning.....

It's at the entrance of the Yuma Proving Grounds Todd, across the road from it is a park full of armoured vehiches.

You might have seen this one then on your travels  --- Yellowknife ---

They look to have done a good job
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Captain Canada

Ya they've done a really nice job on her Chris. I was at the park last night watching a friends kids play footie, and the thunderstorm clouds rolling in behind her would have made for an excellent photo.

In other news, this weekend ( on the 31st ) they are rededicating her, flyovers by the Golden Hawk Sabre piloted by Chris Hadfield, maybe a Vampire and some T-33s, as well as some Harvards. We will nbe out of town at a race but hoping somebody will be there to take a few pics.

....... flyovers by the Golden Hawk Sabre piloted by Chris Hadfield.......

That'll be a MEGA-low altitude flight for him!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
