Oh well. Beginnings of a stash, I suppose.

We all have to start somewhere ----mahawaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

And that's a problem?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Should it be one?  It certainly isn't to me.  Madame Rheged is relaxed about it, as I should imagine is your good lady.

Or might not, but I'm the only bidder and it closes tomorrow. Oh well. Beginnings of a stash, I suppose.

No 100% sure but I may have one of those kits in the stash that is probably of no use to me so if you don't get the one you are after on ebay give me a pm and we can talk terms.

Gondor's Modelling Rule Number Three: Everything will fit perfectly untill you apply glue...

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

TheSybarite

Many thanks, but I remained the only bidder and got it. Now to see what's in it...

TheSybarite

Also wonder if I should put a Vulcan pod and an ammo pod underneath.

Just don't want to overburden the poor bird.

TheSybarite

Does anyone know of after-market Vulcan pods for the Harrier? I'm loath to buy a whole AV-8B just for the pods.

Just open up the front end of the avionics pods that come with the GR - they're based on the original ADEN gunpods anyway.

Also, the Harrier has never carried the Vulcan. The AV-8B has a GAU-12 Equalizer 25mm five-barrel gun, and the first-gen Harriers/SHar1s had ADENs.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

TheSybarite

Well, the cheapy Tornado has arrived and DOES have Kormorans, so that's one thing sorted.

Mossie

I'm pretty sure I've got an AV-8B GAU-12 pod if you want it.  I'll have a dig through the spares box.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

TheSybarite

If you've got the pair, that'd be great. Drop me a DM.
