Have you ever needed a stand for painting something you needed to turn so you could get all the sides? Why spend money?

It's a old sprue with a plastic axle rod glued to it after heat was applied to one sprue so it could be bent. no falling over, no investment and if your part has a hole or two it works.

I would suggested you order some from Micro Mark. I've used them and can highly recommend them. They are "the" place for tools and such.

All I can find in MicroMark is 'Rust n Dust'. It looks simple enough and is in my price range but has anyone else used this before?

I'm thinking Zombie proof 2 C V.Easy to maintain good fuel mileage, some off road ability and removable roof to stick your head out of and snipe at zombies.

If you build it we will watch and cheer you on.   Well, some of us will. I always thought the 2 CV was Ferdinade Porsche's joke on the French as they wanted a VW VolkWagen 'Beetle' copy so he built it 'backwards' as replayment for holding him after the war. It was still one heck of a little car for the masses.

What I'm waiting for is someone to come up with an aircraft, ship or boat for this build.
Aircraft I think would need to be something low maintenance and with a good fuel range. Short or rough field capability would be a good thing to have. Having missions like Scouting, Ground Support or Rapid Extraction would be nice.
Ships & Boats would need the same maintenance & range considerations. At least on a large ship you would be able to load up on weapons to defend yourself from possible attacks while in port or at sea.
I know there are guys here who could do wondrous things with some 'Museum Pieces' of any genre.

I can see why there aren't any planes or ships and boats. I see two major issues : 1) available kits in "your scale"  2) cost of kits.  1/35 and 1/72 scales have the range of kits and figures, but you are hard pressed to find anything but figures for 10$US or less. On the other hand,1/72 scale has nearly everything you could ask for, except for ships. Those are the big scale and some of the most expensive. I could see a good diaroma in 1/72 scale. I would also have to say that these issues only arise "after" you have decieded on what you want to build. There is plenty of movie inspration for all sorts vehicles and things but aircraft are only shown as tools used and quickly discarded.

Ehhhh I don't remember specifying 1:35th or 1:72. It is "Scale open to builder" as far as I know. Price is always an objection depending on the builder.

I could see people taking refuge on a ship or boat out at sea. It would keep them away from wandering walkers. Like the landlubbers, they would still have to scrounge for food, fuel and supplies.

Trying to get (And keep it down only to!) a minimum crew might help with food and some supplies. But then fuel could be problematic as 'sneaking in in a large ship would be hard and multiple trips with smaller boats would incrse the chances of being stumbled on greatly.
Now an atomic powered aircraft carrier or other ship....

Even the biggest freighters only have ten or fifteen crew members. A cruise ship probably needs only a few people to actually run the ship. Store rooms full of food and drinks......
