pm models t38 and matcbox 2 seater jag

i started these today (yesterday technically lol)

i decided for my atlantian theme builds for the trainers colour scheme on mostly nmf with a yellow spine/tail

both are built and tbh i quite like them :)
waiting on decals to finish them
the jag is actually not a bad looking plane
it really does look like a baby tsr2!

the f5/t38 is the atlantians fast jet trainer from the 60s to the 80s
the jag is the ground pounders trainer specifically for the tsr2
both can be used operationally if required

in not sure weather to use the f16 or mig 29 as the modern fast trainer for the atlantians (the su27/35 is the modern multirole fighter)

Yellow spine really suits the Jaguar
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

It's a sort of 'Lemon Ripple' look, isn't it?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

looks great, i like what you did with the yellow spines

ive built the PM F-5B/T-38 before, and i have to say, "never, NEVER again, will i build another PM F-5!"
its just plain awefull and nasty, no detail, bad fit, barely transparent canopy (looks pre-glue-mudged), very fragile landing gear,..

all in all, i had a bad experience with the PM F-5, did you have the same problem?
on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

iv done a few lol

my 1st ever model

iv since made it a single wheel on the main gear

iv taken the 500lbers off it since

canadian pheonix armed interceptor with a gau 8 in the bomb bay! (iv got another planned with the wing of a rapier on it just to annoy the americans lol)

cant have a tsr without a gulf war bird
this gives an idea of the size of the thing!

iv taken the bombs off the bottom now

mach 3 supermanueverable 120,000lb thrust monster

in service monster fighter/bomber

not finished yet got decals and canards on it now but no splodey bits hanging off it

these were rescued from somebodies bin! iv repainted the nasa 1 the other is untouched

why not

atlantian navy strike mission (4 sea eagles)

i think this is my favourite so far it just looks so righ in this scheme

McColm

Has anyone tried to fit the side by side seating arrangement from an F-111 or Su-24 instead of using the standard tandem on a TSR2?
I know that the forward fuselage would be reduced and the N.A. RA-5C isn't wide enough.

it had a very thin fuse i suppose it might be possible to do it with a lightning front end but it seems like it would ruin it
