Yes, that looks AWESOME!

I like the 'casual' look of the pilot resting his hand on the float.  ;D

Which kit did the float come from BTW?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Floats from the Tamiya N1K1 Kyofu kit....even come with a metal weight for perfect balance. Useful, cos' if you keep an eye out you can pick this kit up on EBay pretty cheap. I'd like to use the floats from the Rufe for the Spiteful as the strut arrangement on the mainfloat is reversed. I'd have to reposition the chin intake tho.

I think I was trying to find a cross between Aussie Forest Green and Racing green. Just love those DAP Beaufighters.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

very beautiful!

japanese floatplanes are truly a beautiful source of floats. There is a "Pete" kit by Fujimi with alternate floats with waterline effect ... i like those.

Nice. Using the large single float with the wing mounted small outrigger floats looks good. By just reading the subject line of the thread, I thought it was gonna look something like the PM Spitfire Mk.V with floats kit. Look foward to seeing the Spiteful.

That is beautiful ! Looks superb ( and fast ) in that green, and the gloss black spinner really brings out the colour. Love the float arrangement too. Great stuff !

I really want to get going on the Spiteful. Need to buy some supplies...I've posted on the colours site about Gulf Oil colours available in spray cans. Any help greatly appreciated.
