But who cares if it's uncontrollable during the process?

I bet the pilot does!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Anything  can go supersonic with enough thrust...........but whether it's a fully  controllable aircraft with a doughty pilot at the helm,   or an uncontrollable hurtling object with a gibbering passenger..........?

Anything can go supersonic but if you lose your wings or tail... Even a brick can be supersonic. If it'll be able to be "flight-controlled" is another problem.

That sort of was my point...

Everybody

Based on the known data of the L-133 configuration: Could the plane have purposefully (i.e. able to go supersonic and remain controllable) gone supersonic either in a dive or in level flight?
That being said, I'd like to remind everybody in a manner reminiscent of the SNL bit on Julian Assange, that no matter how I die: It was murder (even if there was a suicide note or a video of me peacefully dying in my sleep); should I be framed for a criminal offense or disappear, you know to blame.
