The rules are set.

1) Scale is open to the builder,
2) Must be a vehicle found in civilian life on the streets of your city/ town/ village/ outpost/ borough. And that includes nearby aircraft and water craft. Obviously the local guard or militia will be out and probably be over-ran at some point of have to abandon vehicles.
3) 'Heavy Weapons' like Heavy Machine Guns, bazookas, hand grenades, cannon and such should be things you would expect to be able to obtain and/or find laying about abandoned.  Obviously the local guard or militia will be out and probably be over-ran at some point of have to abandon  weapons.

4) Open ended as far as end of build. (we can always name an end date later).

MODIFICATIONS TO THE RULES.
Build as many as you want/can!
Build for any zombie scenario you want!
Be sure to put a brief description of the scenario & the type of zombies you are engaging in your build/finished thread!

Mwaaa Haaa Haaa Haa Ha Ha!  I'm looking at this 40 Ford and thinking "It's pretty smooth looking to start with. Now let's see... I got a rocket nose cone, some plastic spoons, pieces cut off of other cars..."

I just have to try and not over complicate this project. The tires are one sided and hollow on the inside face. Already I'm thinking about how to fill it with epoxie putty to make it a full tire. Is it worth it? Accuracy vs getting something done is the eternal question.

It really depends on if the rear of the wheel is visualble after you get it finished. I.would use a disc cut from .040 sheet to fit in the hole. Use some bits of sprue placed around the inside of the tyre for support. Then a bead of superglue to attach and seal the edge. Paint as required.

kerick

That would be quicker and easier. I just want to fill that hole so its not so obvious.

As an after thought, I thought of making the slightly larger than the opening. Paint it in the chassis color so it stands out. You could also add simple details to it as well.

Well that plan is out the window! I opened the box my friend gave me in a stack of boxes and it's mostly empty:unsure: Wonder what smooth looking car is on the LHS shelve?

Zombie proofed? Novel and unique.

Hey, the rich car collector that bought the film prop had it out for a spin when the zombies attacked! Survivors find the abandoned car and put it to use. It could happen!

Even the movie cars are fair game then! "How do I replace these prop guns on the Tumbler guys? Guys? Anyone"? So many different vehicles used in movies come to mind.

You did ask for a smooth car from the LHS......
We should try to keep with the spirit of the GB, even it seems I am the chief violator! Sometimes I just can't stop myself!
I need to spend less time on the computer and more time at the bench.

Some pretty good ideas here. Some down right crazy. For anyone having trouble making up their mind as to what to build I may not be helping....
