Yeap they are a bit annoying when they launched their website they indicated they would be couvering 1/72nd as well as 1/48th and 1/32nd, but inb all that time we haven't seen a single kit  :banghead:

I've been toying with their 1/48 F-94, maybe as an early ECM vehicle. What has really annoyed me (and with other modern kits) is that that some parts are now wholly etch. I hate etch, the carpet monster loves etch. It's OK as long as there's a plastic alternative. I fear for the future .

Try Squadron or Hobby Link Japan?

And their 1/32d scale Texan looks gorgeous.

Kitty Hawk has announced a full line of F-35s! in 1/72! LINK!

Yay! Really looking forward to these. Especially the B and the C!
Too bad it took them so long, though. They could have had the market cornered for years with a proper F-35A. Now they have to compete with Italeri and Academy for the 1/72 F-35A market.
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Happy on two counts:-

1. Kitty hawk are finally doing toolings in 1/72nd
2. Its all three F-35 variants so we should get a decent B with all the correct doors positionable and a mainstream C.

The crux however is when they will come out and in what order !!!!, as i expect we may see a few more F-35 kits announced in the next couple of months !

I'll just have to build a 'B' at some stage if only because of mt personal connection with the thing but I DO wish they'd stayed with the double folding lift fan intake doors. The current arrangement looks like a garage door stuck on the back of it!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Agree, it looked much better that way. I have seen "B"s in the pattern and it looks like a barn door.  Also wish the nose gears doors closed back up when the gear was down.  Lots of stuff hanging up, down and every direction.

I'd missed that Kitty Hawk had released a Jaguar A and a GR.1/3.  On Hannants a T.2/4 trainer has also been announced.

Others announced are a UH-1Y Super Huey, AH-Z Viper and a Kaman Seasprite, all in 1/48.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Army of One

At the Crewe model show the Mig25 was on sale for £56,99 (cheapest I saw....) and £70 (dearest I saw....)......this was within 20ft of each other.....

October SAM has a build of the Kitty Hawk Voodoo plus Aviation in Profile article, colour profiles and walk around detail shots for those interested in the beast.

Cool. Thanks for the heads up ! I am still fighting with NOT buying that kit. I know I'm going to, but there's so much other stuff I'd like to get !

New from Kitty Hawk at Hannants:

This should please a lot of people. I'd love to see it scaled down to 1/72nd but don't hold your breath...
