I may try a dab of baking soda in a drop or two to see how much texture that adds.

So I found two sets of two of alternate tires. My '99 Ford SVT truck gave up two and so did my '96 Corvette GS. They all fit the rims and might be something found in a shop like the one I envision.

I like the truck tires for the rear as they are taller and thus reduce the gear ration. This will reign in a little the Hemi RoadRunner's tendicy to turn rubber into smoke and dust and give a better top end speed. No fun spinning the tires and going nowhere as the brain suckers close in!
Which do you guys prefer?

Hard to say, what ever gives it get up and go!

Use 'em all, I say! ;D

You wont be playing "find the right tyre" when the Z's are after you - it'll be "Whatever you can jam onto the rim & drive, m*%^@f&~#@!"

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

As long as you pair them left to right.

There will, still, come a time when you use what you've got because it's all you've got, & it's either that or walk.

Now I'm at the 'Mock up the window shields, trim. touch up and mock again, repeat..." phase. Same with the plows and rams. *sigh*

Got some of the 'old sheet metal' armor rough cut and painted to a point.

The piece for the front door glass will be fixed to the door overlapping the roof and rear side window a bit. That way it will swing with the door but be hard to punch in or cling to. The front windshield armor will be spaced out so the wipers can work and you don't end up with Zombie gore in the heater/air flow vents at the base of the windshield.
Can you imagine semi-liquid Zombie gore on a hot heater core?   :-X

So here is the frame for my Zombie plow/ram combo.

Looking good! V plow is a good idea. Sweep the zombies off to the side of the road to clear the path.

Yeah, that's the idea. I just dug out my scrap pieces of Evergreen plastruct and grabbed whatever fit or could be cut to fit. "Junk yard engineering at it's finest"!

Remember the show "Junkyard Wars" or in the UK was "Scrapheap Challenge"? This is it!

Plowing forward.
A little of this, a little of that and then I cut some '1st cut' templates for the front of it. the final piece will be one piece and really rough cut on the edges with maybe some surprises at the top and bottom.

Hmmmmmmm.... I wonder if it still needs anything?
