You need a hybrid car, pretty quiet in the electric mode.

Yes, but would one of the volt-burners be able to even push the 'light weight' plow thought a daycare full of zombie ruggies?

Bolt two or three together and slave the controls to the leader. Just like train locomotives!

I've really been enjoying this build and I can't wait to see you finish it. Who knows,I might even get off my arse and finish my own. I've been diddling on it again and have almost gotten my design finally finished. I just keep getting more ideas !!!.
Say, I thought there were several guys who were doing builds... ???   Whatever happened to those guys ???

Mine is still progressing fitfully. This has been the busiest summer ever! Maybe with less outdoor stuff going on I'll get some model time.

Yes Kerick hit the nail on the head. Summer time means more opportunities for people to be out doing things other than sitting at the bench modeling. I hope they are at least keep an eye out and reading up in here to see how much (little?) progress is being made by others.

Picking away at the Zombie Bird and getting closer to done all the time.

Shifter is in and needs a touch up, exhaust pipes mounted, front seat is in and interior door panels detailed.

Believe it or not this is the start of the rear window guard. There will be screen over this. And yes, I know the bars are crooked and odd sizes... I designed it that way! Remember, this is being put together by two youths barely out of high school in a hurry!
Can you hear the creepies sniffing around outside?

That was my theory exactly! No time for making it pretty :o

Well the wheels are done, done and done. Once again I got involved with another build that has a date to be finished by.

So I've been working on the Zombie Bird and thought 'If you can't kill them then what"?
In the Army they told us "If you injure a soldier badly you affect the enemy worse than just killing one of their mates. They hear them screaming in pain, (Not much chance of that here!), they try to help their fallen comrade, (Fat chance!), and you've disabled one of them making him less effective even if they want to fight on". Ding Ding DING! That last is a winner!
So if our two boys grind the edge of the plow down sharp maybe they'll cut off some Zombie feet. THAT should slow them down!

Then if you put sharpened angle iron on the plow and windshield guard with curved ends also sharpened what are they going to hang onto? For that matter with what? Hard for a Zombie to pick his nose with no fingers!

What do you call a Zombie with no fingers or feet? Target Practice!

So I decided it needed a little reinforcement to the 'armor' in a couple of places.

Some more 'cutter' iron on the front plow and windshield cover seemed in order so I did it. Now to put some wheels under the plow so it doesn't drag and maybe articulate it so it doesn't drag too much.
Is that rust or dried blood on those cutters?
