I'll take a fresh Zombie pizza with extra Zombie grated over the top. Can I get that with stuffed crust and a Zombie shake?

Looking good ! I like the idea of calling it a grater instead of a plow.....kinda looks like Batman as well

Oh na na na na na na na No way!  Okay, I'll admit I'm a Batfan from the comic book days of the 1950s.

Just say it was the shape of the scrap metal that went into the construction.

So I've been working on the Z-Bird and made some progress. Seems to be slower than usual but then I am slower than I used to be.

^ This shot from the back shows everything I've got done in the last week. Got round rollies at all four corners and everything.  ;D

^ I think the interior turned out fairly well, even the heat & sound proofing on the floor. I like it at least.

^ I've made the retainers that keep outer window grate on and just need to install them. If I made enough I can even use them to hold the windscreen cover up off the glass for wiper clearance. Got to get all that nasty Zombie juice off if you want to see where your going!

Needs more rust!
The rust goes on after the parts are applied. Haven't you ever heard the the old old saying
"Let it rust in peace"?   :banghead:

JUST FOR KERICK!

^ I decided to mix up the application order on my Rust n Dust. Flat clear then threw some dust on while it was still wet. The I went with the rust color, the black wash then another coat of flat clear.
I'm pretty happy with the rough rusty texture I came out with. The surface rust peeking through along the roof/fender seam looks good too.

Excellent! Don't forget the rusty welds all over.
I like the dust first look. Makes the rust look like its been there a long time.

So after getting that "Just Right Old Junk" look on the back window I decided the plow and front window shield were just looking too clean and new.

^ Gee did I over do it? I like it myself.

Looks great!

It's finally getting that "Thrown Together in a Rush" look to it.

Nice work around the fenders. Those wheel wells will look great all rusted up.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Oh boy! More stuff to age in!  ;D

^ The front window armor will just be welded on the door skin so it needs to be robust, Not to mention a couple of locks at the top might help.
< What do you do with a bent up pipe? Slip another piece of pipe inside it, weld it up and use it for the rear ram. Heck, that flange may useful so leave it! I knew I was saving that red gewgaw for something.
> Why are the armor on the door windows different? Two guys, working fast, on different sides or the car, from plans in their heads, that's why!

Well so I think this looks like a suitable pile of junk made into a rear bumper.

Fence posts, pipes, sqaure tubes? Check, check and check. Strange mix of colors? Check!
Now to age the joints.
Gee, looks like something I'd like to have during rush hour in Kansas City!  ;D
